AARON, CRYSTAL & CAIA WILSON

AARON
Aaron and Crystal
About four years after becoming a Christian I became involved in Young Life and United Beach Missions in the U.K. and Ireland. Through these organisations, the Lord gave me a desire to witness to people wherever I found myself.

After graduating from university in 1995, I completed a Management Development course in Belfast, N.I., and subsequently worked for a small wholesale distributor for about a year.

While working there, I became increasingly aware that this was not where I would be 'long term' and so was praying about what to do next.

I became aware of a need at Japan Mission through reading their bi-monthly prayer report and began to think and pray about going to Japan to work with the mission in the office (my background is in administration).

I came to Japan in October 1997, and am currently working in the Japan Mission office from Monday to Friday.

Do pray that my grasp of the language will improve and that I might be able to use this effectively as I seek to witness to people in Japan.

I met Crystal Folk in 2001 and we
were married in Vernon, B.C., Canada, on August 17, 2002.

We were recently blessed to be able to adopt a baby girl. Her name is Caia.

Together, we are seeking to reach those around us with the good news of Jesus Christ.

CRYSTAL

Crystal is looking after our adopted daughter, Caia, but before becoming a stay at home mother, she was a teacher for KIU Academy near Kyoto. This is an International Christian school with a very wide ministry, not only to children from Christian families, but also for Japanese children who may experience difficulty fitting in to the traditional Japanese school system.

Crystal also teaches Sunday School at the local international church we attend. Please pray that the Lord might communicate His love through her to the children as she teaches them about Him.

Recently, we have sensed the Lord opening the way for us to return to Canada with our daughter in the summer of 2010. Please pray for Aaron as he trains his replacement, Annie Richardson, and pray for her too, as she seeks to learn all the various jobs and responsibilities involved.

Pray too for them as they return to Canada and try to find emplyment and a place to live.

We would both very much value your prayers as we look to the Lord for the future.

Every Blessing,

Aaron & Crystal Wilson
